Organizational Consultancy for GIZ Country Office in Juba, South Sudan
Task
GIZ is working on behalf of Germany and mandated by various UN-Agencies in South and supports South Sudan in its state building. In March, 2010 the GIZ Country Office has been established to manage and administer the related work of about 700 national staffs and international experts. It requires a good organisation of the operational and administrative areas to enable the efficient implementation of effective programmes.

- Facilitation of Workshops with the international Executive Management to elaborate an efficient backoffice system
- Elaboration of new structure for the backoffice
- Coaching of the Country Director and of Executive Management
- Facilitation of annual retrait to disseminate the new structure to the staff.
Result
The GIZ in JUBA has a Backoffice with distinct auxiliary and management processes and is in the position to adjust its structure accordingly to ensure the implementation of the annual strategic planning.
