Impact Monitoring of Humanitarian Action
Task
Caritas international and Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe implement (partially jointly) Humanitarian Aid projects and programmes. For accountability reasons but also for learning purposes the partners decided to elaborate a concept particularly for impact monitoring in Humanitarian Aid. An additional manual should facilitate the operational implementation in the field.

- Participatory elaboration and development of the conceptual basis for impact orientation and –monitoring in a core team
- Elaboration of a manual with examples along the diifferent phases of Humanitarian Action
- Facilitation of a Workshop for revising the draft concept and manual
Results
Ci and DKH adopt and approve the concept for impact orientation for Humanitarian Action. The staffs use a manual to design and establish a impact monitoring system in the field. The results of the impact monitoring are used for the communication with the public and institutional donors.
